Event Details

The Thameslink Programme achieved a major success over the Christmas 2017 period, with its last major commissioning and the reopening of London Bridge station with its new 12,000m2 concourse. After many years of planning, development and design, the Thameslink Programme is now virtually complete.

On 19th February 2018, Nick Gray, the Principal Programme Sponsor, will provide us with an insight into the benefits that passengers are starting to see with the untangling of the tracks on the approaches to London Bridge. With the number of operators and organisations involved with the complexity London Bridge, Nick will explain how the programme has developed industry-wide planning to ensure the works are successfully delivered.

We welcome all IRO members, anyone that works in the railway industry (or is looking to join), and anyone interested in becoming a member of the IRO.

Refreshments will be available from 17.45 and the event will be followed by our popular networking session giving you the opportunity to meet fellow railway industry professionals. If you are not yet a member, or you have any queries about the event, please email se.comms@railwayoperators.co.uk to book your place.
