‘TransPennine – A forward look’, by Chris Nutton, Programme Director, Transpennine Express

The TransPennine route forms a key arterial network across the north of England, seeing intensive use by both passenger and freight operators. The route sees considerable capacity constraints and in response to this a significant investment programme is underway for both the infrastructure and the Transpennine franchise fleet. Chris will describe the plans for both the route and the franchise.

This talk is essential for students and IRO members to give them an understanding of Train Service Development.

This talk will take place in Leeds.
