Event Details

Join us for our annual family day out this year on Saturday 16th June at the Severn Valley Railway. Meeting at Kidderminster station concourse at 1000 for a walk around the visitor museum we will then take the 1110 to Bridgnorth. The journey takes 1 hour 10 mins allowing plenty of time for a chat with fellow members and to enjoy the pretty scenery of the Wyre Forest area.

Bridgnorth station has opportunities for refreshments and guests are free to visit the historic town centre where there are numerous restaurants, cafes, pubs & shops. Council members will advise on the day the time of their return journey which you are welcome to join, but tickets will be open for guests to return to Kidderminster at their leisure, with stops off at Highley & Arley recommended, especially if the weather is kind to us!

For those intending to travel from Birmingham we are hoping to be able to provide travel for this journey additionally, please advise us if this is the case for you so we have an idea on numbers.
