Event Details
Stuart Meek, General Manager at Southern will be speaking to the IRO South East area about the driver controlled operation dispute on Southern.
This extended period of industrial action has received a huge amount of publicity but this is a chance to hear the inside story. Stuart will be talking about the circumstances that brought about the dispute and the lessons learnt which will be relevant in the wider industry.
We welcome all IRO members, anyone that works in the railway industry (or is looking to join), and anyone interested in becoming a member of the IRO. Refreshments will be available from 17.45 and the event will be followed by our popular networking session giving you the opportunity to meet fellow railway industry professionals with a complimentary warm finger buffet.
