Event Details
The Liverpool Lime Street signal box which dates from 1948, is one of only two remaining on Network Rail which uses miniature levers to control signals and points in the local area.
Numbers are very restricted, and places will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. As places on this event are restricted, due to operational restraints, we would like to kindly request that those that who are already familiar with this signal box to please allow for others to have the opportunity to visit this location.
Due to the on-going works being undertaken at Liverpool Lime Street Station, railway approved safety footwear and Hi-Vis vest will be required.
This is a free to attend event, however, IRO Members are kindly requested to bring membership cards.
