Event Details

From a start-up in autumn 2015, Rail Operations Group (ROG) has carved out a niche initially as a specialist in moving and testing rolling stock across the country, contracting to both TOCs and ROSCOs, and is currently involved in new fleets from CAF, Bombardier, and Stadler. An expanding business portfolio now sees ROG owning its own fleet of locomotives, gaining a passenger operator license from the ORR, and operating scheduled passenger services.

CEO and founder, Karl Watts FIRO, will talk through how the organisation was established and has developed, how it currently operates, and discusses plans for the future including the order for class 93 locomotives from Stadler scheduled for delivery in 2022.

We welcome all IRO members, anyone that works in the railway industry (or is looking to join), and anyone interested in becoming a member of the IRO. The event will be followed by our popular networking session giving you the opportunity to meet fellow railway industry professionals with a complimentary warm finger buffet.

Please note the new venue at Palestra.
