Event Details

Ian Clarke, Head of People Capability & External Engagement will provide a presentation of operations at Prestwick NATS Control Centre, this will then be followed by a systems overview, and a tour of the operations room and development areas.

NATS provides air traffic navigation services to aircraft flying through UK controlled airspace and at numerous UK and international airports.  The guiding principle of air traffic control is that safety is paramount. Controllers must keep the aircraft they handle safely separated using internationally agreed standards.

This event is limited strictly to 20 places.

All attendees will need to bring photo ID (driving licence or passport) and unfortunately entry on the day will not be possible without this. Visitors will go through Airport style security so it’s best to minimise carried luggage as this will need scanned.  Those travelling by car will need to provide registration details.
