Network Rail’s Asset Engineer – Overhead Line Equipment (Western Route), Darrel Tiddy will deliver a presentation to members of the IRO South West & Wales Area on asset management of overhead line equipment and the principals of electrification on the Western Route.

The electrification of the Western Route, one of Britain’s oldest and busiest routes, will enable the industry to provide greener, more reliable journeys and improved connections across the South West. This level of investment and modernisation requires a robust approach in asset management and maintenance.
