Every autumn and winter Multi Purpose Vehicles are equipped across the country to help deal with the challenges of these seasons. Join us on a visit to Effingham Junction depot, the base of the MPVs for the Wessex area, to learn more about how these vehicles are utilised across the network and the challenge of having them ready for service every day.

Places are strictly limited for this visit so you must book in advance. To register your interest in this visit please contact Rob Mawby: se.visits@railwayoperators.co.uk. Rob will contact all applicants to let them know whether you have a place on the visit or not.

The group will be meeting at Waterloo at 16:50 prompt and will not return until about 20:00.
