Event Details

Rachel Watters, Project Leader for Suicide Prevention, Network Rail will be talking to us about the work that she is involved with between Network Rail, The Samaritans and Train Operators to reduce the number of suicides on the Railway Infrastructure.

In the media headlines over the last few months with Mental Health Awareness week, this work is a key part of raising awareness of the issues that anyone can face in their life and how we can as an industry can help to manage incidents on the Railway.

With some touching stories Rachel will cover all aspects of her work and will hold a ‘questions and answers’ session which is sure to be useful for anyone who works in the industry.

Meet at 17:15 for a 17:30 start. All visitors will need to sign into Baskerville House reception prior to going to Floor 2.

Please email Gary Rainbow, Midlands Area Secretary on m.secretary@railwayoperators.co.uk if you would like to attend.
