Event Details
THIS EVENT IS STILL TAKING PLACE
Exchanges by management teams between the UK and Japanese railways have been a long-held tradition. We will hear from a UK delegation who visited Japan during November 2018. This talk will detail the unique differences in the way the two countries’ railways are operated, but also the remarkable similarities and the myriad of opportunities they found to learn and share ideas with each other. A great opportunity to learn of different ways to run trains, but also what we can be proud of in the UK!
We welcome all IRO members, anyone that works in the railway industry (or is looking to join), and anyone interested in becoming a member of the IRO. Refreshments will be available from 17.30 and the event will be followed by our popular networking session giving you the opportunity to meet fellow railway industry professionals with a complimentary warm finger buffet.
If you are a member and would like to attend, please book your space below or for non-members please email se.comms@railwayoperators.co.uk
