Event Details

Due to the current circumstances the South East Area have taken the decision to postpone this event and will be rescheduling a date in the future.

As operators of our rail industry, we will be well aware that train service performance has been a challenge over recent years across the national network. Urgent attention is required to arrest declining performance and return it to levels better than those we saw in 2012. The Network Performance Board (NPB) has been formed by the Rail Delivery Group to lead and coordinate the rail industry in achieving this.

Nick Donovan, the Independent Chair of NPB, will be talking to us about the purpose of the NPB, insights into national performance trends, and how the NPB is coordinating the UK rail industry to restore a punctual and reliable timetable for our customers and communities. If you have a role in delivering operations in our industry then this talk is not to be missed.

We welcome all IRO members, anyone that works in the railway industry (or is looking to join), and anyone interested in becoming a member of the IRO. Refreshments will be available from 17.30 and the event will be followed by our popular networking session giving you the opportunity to meet fellow railway industry professionals with a complimentary warm finger buffet.

If you are a member and would like to attend, please book a space via the drop down below or for non-members please email se.comms@railwayoperators.co.uk
