Event Details
Alliance Rail is a wholly owed subsidiary of ARRIVA Trains UK, a sister company of Grand Central and have plans to launch open access operations in competition with franchised operators from the North to London using the well known brand of GNER and that of GNWR.
This event will include an overview of ‘open access’ and its role within the wider rail industry, the main differences between an open access operator and that of a franchised train operating company. Ian will also provide an overview of Alliance Rail, its history and its plans for the future. There will also be the opportunity for a Q&A session at the end.
