‘Great Western Railway – Driver Simulator Experience’
Saturday 10th December 2016
Morning Session: 0945 for 1000 start
Afternoon Session: 1245 for 1300 start
Plymouth Railway Station, Plymouth
Ever wanted to know more about the skills and techniques required to drive a train?
The team at Great Western Railway would like to offer IRO members the chance to experience just that. In a rare and exciting opportunity Irene Beale, Driver Simulator Manager and Kerry Cassidy, Driver for GWR will facilitate sessions in the use of Driver Simulators in driver training and competence management at their training centre in Plymouth.
Places are strictly limited at this event to allow members to gain the most from a hands on experience of the simulators. Priority will be given to current students on the IRO education programmes. Please indicate your preferred session when registering your interest for this event.
