Graham Force and Gabriel Stroud will discuss how Developmental Competence delivered through an electronic solution encourages drivers to own, manage and improve their own competence, helping rail operators to pinpoint issues before they become incidents. In this webinar, Rail Training and Operational Consultant Graham Force speaks with Competence Management and Incident Investigation expert Gabriel Stroud on the current landscape for competence management and the opportunities that electronic competence management can offer the Australian and New Zealand rail industry, based on best practice from the UK.
Graham Force MIRO is a Member of the Institution of Railway Operators and Rail Training and Operational Consultant, with over 40 years’ experience managing railway operations across the UK, NZ and Australia.
Gabriel Stroud is a learning and development expert and competence management specialist with a wealth of experience in both the railway industry and the IT domains. He specialises in reducing incidents and accidents through developmental competence management and incident investigation.
This event will be of particular interest to those interested in the ‘Emergency and Incident Management’, ‘Managing Safety’ and ‘People & Change’ elements of the IRO Professional Operators Development (POD).
