Event Details

IRO Scotland are delighted to offer a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience to visit the Forth Rail Bridge, an iconic structure symbolic of Scotland’s world class Victorian engineering.

The trip will grant you access to scale this UNESCO World Heritage Site, seeing you elevated 110m above the Forth of Firth (on the North Cantilever),  where you can get a closer look at the structure of this and the other 2 structure which span the Forth (and span 3 centuries of construction). And don’t worry if you think you don’t have a head for heights, as the experience of going up to the top vastly outweighs this.

Sensible shoes are the only requirement, with hi-viz and hard hats provided. The only thing that could stop this visit would be strong winds which we shall monitor on an on-going basis.

This event is limited to 5 participants and is expected to be popular so please register your interest at ScottishArea@railwayoperators.co.uk
