Event Details

Attendees should make their own way to Bolton Abbey station at 10:30 hrs.  Alternatively meet at Skipton station at 10:15 for transport to Bolton Abbey, where light refreshments will be provided, as well as an introduction to the railway.

There will be the opportunity for you and your family to travel on the steam trains on this heritage line, which runs for 4 miles from Embsay via Draughton sidings, Holywell and Stoneacre Loop to Bolton Abbey station.  There will also be a goods train running on this day.

It is hoped to include some specific visits to the operational parts of the railway.  You will be free to ride on the trains, and also take the opportunity to visit other attractions in the area.  For those requiring it, transport will be provided back to Skipton station at 16:00.

Places are limited to 30 for this visit.  Therefore please register as soon as possible, as places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  If a delegate subsequently cannot attend, it is essential that they notify the organiser; late advice or failure to notify may reduce eligibility for subsequent events.
