Regrettably, due to unforeseen circumstances, this event has had to be cancelled.

On Tuesday 9th October, we will be welcoming Linda Smith, Chief of Staff for Switches & Crossings, North Alliance to talk to us about the current 79 day partial closure of Derby station.

The biggest project ever of its kind, during the presentation Linda will cover the work carried out on track plus the complications with carrying out improvement works whilst the station remains open to trains and passengers, as well as interfacing with multiple other work deliverers. With over 245 engineering trains in the work site over the 79 days this really will be interesting to hear about!

By the time this event is held, Derby station work will have been completed and the station will be fully operational so don’t miss this opportunity to hear from one of the senior managers involved.

Meet at 17:15 for a tea/coffee aiming for a 17:45 start.
