Event Details

The South East Area’s first presentation of 2014 will be from former IROSE Chairman Chris Loder, Head of Business Projects for the South Western Alliance, on the transfer of MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) Operations on the Network Rail Wessex route into the Alliance for autumn and winter track treatment.

For the first time, the Alliance has undertaken a non-passenger operation and Chris will present on the challenges faced in bringing this operation ‘in-house’ as well as the pros and cons to the Alliance operating a non-passenger fleet that was previously contracted out from Network Rail centrally. Chris will give us another insight to what the South Western Alliance is doing in driving industry change.

Refreshments will be available from 17:30 and after the event, plus a group of members usually go for dinner afterwards.

Members should register to attend via the Bookings area below.

If you are not currently a member or you have any problems with the booking system, please contact David Pinder to register your interest: se.events@railwayoperators.co.uk
