Railway Engineers Forum
The Railway Engineers Forum (REF) is a multi-disciplinary body drawn from the Professional Institutions with strong railway interests:

  • Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
  • Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET)
  • Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE)
  • Institution of Railway Operators (IRO)
  • Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE)
  • International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)
  • Permanent Way Institution (PWI)
  • Railway Civil Engineers Association (RCEA)
  • Young Railway Professionals (YRP)

Note: Most Events are free for anyone to attend but some (particularly Conferences, Seminars and Technical Visits) may require pre-registration and payment of a fee. There may also be a limit on numbers. Please enquire from the sponsoring Institution.
